Iran Reports Attack on American Facility in Bahrain, As Part of Widespread Military Operations.
Iranian forces say they have struck a American military facility in Bahrain, as the country executed operations across the region in retaliation for a large-scale and continuing offensive against it by the US and Israel.
Huge plumes of black smoke were seen rising from an area in the area of the command center of the US Navy's Fifth Fleet in Manama, Bahrain. The scope of any destruction is uncertain and the US has not commented.
Airspace Engagements
In other parts of the Middle East, the United Arab Emirates, the State of Qatar and the State of Kuwait - all home to US military bases - stated they have shot down missiles in their airspace.
In the Qatari capital, Qatar's defence ministry announced it had intercepted a number of projectiles seemingly aimed at the Al Udeid Air Base, the largest American base in the Middle East.
Operation "Truthful Promise 4"
Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated it was targeting US bases and assets as part of military campaign "Truthful Promise 4", in response for the offensive on Iran carried out by the United States and its ally Israel on Saturday.
That US-Israeli operation - initiated at around 06:15 GMT - has so far struck sites associated with the Iranian leadership, with President Trump calling on the Iranian people to revolt against the government.

In Israel, air raid sirens sounded across the country after the Israeli military said it had detected an incoming Iranian missile barrage.
The Ministry of Defence of the United Arab Emirates announced that the nation has been targeted by a "a blatant attack involving Iranian ballistic missiles".
"Emirati air defenses engaged the missiles with high efficiency and shot down a series of missiles," the statement continued.
The statement noted missile fragments landed in a residential area in Abu Dhabi, causing some structural damage and fatalities.
The US Air Force operates from the Al Dhafra base, south of the Emirati capital, along with the Emirati Air Force.
